It's definitely finally starting to feel like spring!
Even though it is supposed to be recovery week for me, but the weather was simply too inviting to refuse. In exchange to pounding the pavement, I traded it off with slower than usual pace to make sure I don't get injured. As a bonus, it was also great to use it as triumph reflection runs from the Around The Bay Race last Sunday.
This time around, I'm confident that I will be attaining a new PB for my half-marathon record from my last record in October 2015 at the Toronto Waterfront. During last Sunday's race, I recorded 1:38:14 for the 21.1km mark which was more than enough to shed off a couple of minutes from my last official entry.
The monthly playlist for the month of April is also finally updated on the Playlist portal. New to this month and beyond is my tentative race day playlist which consists of recorded live consecutive DJ sets, worthy enough to keep the heart rates and the mental drive going from start to finish. Inputs for future playlists always welcome, let me know on my Contact Me section!
